As patch testing before using a hair colour or toner is a legal requirement under Section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work Act, please ensure you book a valid allergy test with me at least 48 hours prior to your colour service appointment. 

By completing the consultation questions and undergoing a patch test, the safety of the colour application can be determined. The result of this test is considered valid for a period of 6 months. If you do not arrange for an allergy test before your scheduled appointment, nor you have a valid test carried out by me, your colour service will need to be rearranged to a future date. 

Please note, I won’t be able to carry out colour service for anyone under the age of 17; or if you are allergic to PPD or hair colourant; or if you have undergone cancer treatment in the last six months.
